after eons eons FINALLY met up with monz. zzzzz. I SWEAR i thought i would be EARLY lor! =(((( ended up still late by a bit. i'm so sad can. -huge sigh- in any sense, because of the late-ness, i found out that vivocity's cinema adverts are realllllyyyyyy long HAHAHAHAH.
the movie was at 240pm. we stepped in at 3pm HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. ermmmm, the adverts were still playing???! HAHAHAHAHA. wtf??? and they continued to play for about 5mins after we sat down. LOL.
movie: Batman; The Dark Knight.
HAHAHAHA. or monz's version of BatKnight HAHAHAHAH wtf. seriously leh, she cracks me up.
i shall not comment much about the movie; but i know i left the cinema slightly disturbed.

1) is it true that a person only reveals his/her true colors at the extreme point of desperation? the ugliness?
2) somehow, the irony in the movie...gotham as a city...is it trying to depict real-life situation: us and our lives right now? the underlying/inherent corruption, loss in faith in humankind, selfishness, the commonly wrong perceptions of "hero-ism" and who truly IS our "hero"?
or is it all.......simply an empty shell?

it was walking around vivo for window shopping, fooling around in toys "r" us and little chats before edwin(chip) arrived for dinner! toys "r" us has become almost a routine place to hit everytime we meet up. SHITLOADS of fun inside. damn! i couldn't find the "kiapkiap" to attack monz though HAHAHAH i bet she's damn relieved.
dinner was chip's (and monz's?) treat to celebrate their pay rise (boohoooo, how come i don't have??). SHIN KUSHIYA nonetheless ((((:
The food was awesome, REALLY. but the prices were pretty awesome too =((( thanks so much to edwin for the treat. if not, i think i would have went broke eating.

this first dish, was grilled mushrooms and chicken (i think). i can't really differentiate the meat from one another because i suck. LOL.
but....the mushrooms.....were....so heavenly i shot up to that forsaken place the moment i bit into them......and the juices/seasonings squirted out to tentalize my taste buds.

it's so good; with chopped little garlic pieces and rice so adequately cooked, every little grain is relinquished by your eager tastebuds.
yes yes, i know not many people like garlic, hence i wouldn't say you try it. however, i really think it's a "house dish" because i noticed that many people ordered it, and they looked REALLY pleased.
i even asked monz if she eats garlic asides from this dish, and she told me that she doesn't even like garlic bread! but she just loved this! (she recommended it by the way LOL) so...if you're feeling adventurous, go try it out! (:
